If you need medical help, please follow the guidance on the NHS Inform website. Do not go directly to your GP, hospital or other healthcare environment. If you are at higher risk of severe illness and you need help with food or medicine deliveries, you should contact your Council's shielding support service. A new national helpline has been set up to provide essential assistance to those who do not have family or existing community support, who cannot leave their home and cannot get online, but who are at high risk of contracting COVID-19. Please contact 0800 111 4000 or read further information.
Our coronavirus community assistance directory was set up for those supporting their communities around Scotland to find and offer help. We have now consolidated our directory to include resources we are aware of, both locally and nationally, to help you find what you need whether you are an individual or organisation.
We want to help you find what you need as easily as possible so here are the options for you:
Find what help is available near you
Find general health and wellbeing information
Many organisations want to help in response to the many challenges facing people, communities, and our health and care services.
Share what help you can offer directly to the public
Share what help you can offer to other organisations in your area
Share what help or resources you require
Find out what assistance is needed by organisations in your area
Find help offered by other organisations
Volunteer or help out in your community
