WHO CAN APPLY? Anyone who is struggling financially, socially, or mentally during this covid-19 crisis, who cannot obtain support from other sources. If you are financially secure, this support is not for you, but if things are tough for you as a family, or individual, then please do not hesitate to apply. Even a little help makes a huge difference to get on your feet. This is an extremely confidential support service, and we really do appreciate many people will feel embarrassed to approach us, but please know we are here to help, we want to help, and await your contact. We also accepted referrals from individuals or organisations. WHAT AREAS OF THE CITY ARE WE SUPPORTING? We will be supporting people living in Garthdee, Kincorth, Torry, Leggart, Broomhill, Riverside, Holburn, Mannofield, Airyhall, Seafield and Ferryhill. We will consider supporting people from outwith these communities, but priority will be given to the areas listed. Decisions are made at the discretion of the Inchgarth management. (see below for other fantastic Anchor organisations offering support. We have also listed other organisations who may be able to help you too!) WHAT WILL WE ASK YOU ONCE YOU MAKE CONTACT TO APPLY? We want to ensure this process is simple, quick, and as effective as possible. We will ask you some basic questions about your needs, financial circumstances, and how many people are in the household. We will also want to know what support you are currently receiving from other organisations, and finally your full contact details. We may liaise with other organisations to maximise the support and ensure minimal duplication. PLEASE HAVE PATIENCE WITH US. This project is being rolled out by the Inchgarth management, supported by funds from several organisations, and assisted by our wonderful team of volunteers. We are also keen to gain more volunteers if you wish to assist this project. HOW TO CONTACT US? Email us at inchgarthcc1@btinternet.com Call us on 07546 336 995 You can also text us, and we will phone you back.
