Help offered

We know that the challenging circumstances caused by COVID-19 will continue to have a massive impact on the lives of people with Down’s syndrome and their families and carers. We are here to support you in whatever way we can, including supporting with your child’s learning and development, helping you explain to your child or the person you care for with Down’s syndrome the measures that have been put in place because of Coronavirus and give you guidance on how to support them to understand and adapt to the changes that have happened in their life. We are also here to help you with any practical concerns you may have and support you to access financial help and specific health advice.

How to access this support

Our dedicated helpline is open 8am – 8pm Monday to Thursday and 8am – 5pm on a Friday. Our dedicated Family Support Service Team are on hand to provide support and guidance. You can also contact us via email and arrange a phone or video call with a member of our team.
